Although it appears that not much is happening, everyone here at Sandal Magna is very excited, including Sam the dog. His cheek in approaching the builders got him a trip round the site and a chance to drive some of the machinery.

It's now May 19th and not much was done last week as year six were doing their SATS so the builders were very understanding and kept the noise down. Things are starting to move again now though and these pictures were taken this morning. The blue painted line you can see on the wall  in one of the photos is actually a levelling mark an is EXACTLY one metre above where the new school base will stand.

Things are moving fast on site now, the first few pictures show the builders levelling the ground yesterday.

This is the way things are now. Lots of unobtrusive work has been done that is not obvious  without careful inspection.

Take a look at the last picture here for instance. These towers with lights and cameras are now all round the site as part of the security measures being taken.
