Ledston.
By Emma Lou Burnside.
On Wednesday the 20th of May we all went to Ledston. It was very nice.We did lots of nice things. First we went to look at other activities it was fun!
Then after we had finished looking around we all went to
watched the sheep dog show for 10 minutes there were all
sorts of sheep dogs. The sheep dogs tried to get the geese in
to the fencing.
Next we went to milk the goats and I even tried milking them.
When the jugs were nearly full we put the milk into a bottle
And we all fed Lavender. After we had fed her we went to
the tables and tasted four different kinds of milk.
The first three were horrible and the last one were lovely.
After, we went into the woods and went in a big tent. We had to close our eyes for Duce to come round with Something. We then had to open our eyes and there was a pebble in our hands. We then had to find a space in the woods
for our pebble. My pebble is called Julie and she knits woolly clothes. We then made a shelter and mine got to share with Jordans.
We then went to the toilets to wash our hands. For my lunch I had a sandwich, applejuice and a yoghurt.
We then went to the sheep show it was fun! The first one was Nobby, Susie, Sam, Belinda, Martha and Bernard. The man showed us how to shear a sheep. Then the sheep began to dance.
We then went to a tent were we had to make a greenhouse. In the greenhouse we put a runner bean into our own greenhouse. We then made some cress with cotton wool and seeds.
Finally we got on the coach and went home.
