On Thursday we had an Easter Workshop, when our parents had to come in and help us make a character
out of a boiled egg. I made a mummy chick and her little baby chicks and some people said they looked cute.
Then on Friday the winners were announced, in our class
they were: Patrycja and Tayabah. Congratulations you 2.

Hello it is the first time i' ve been on this website today we had an easter rolling comatition but first we decarated an egg and rolled it down a slide it was really good fun and I sat next to my mummy and best friend.

i know i haven't been signing the guestbook recently according to all my homework. my school has a huge lot of homework to do. but i still enjoy it.
3 days ago it was my birthday. guess what i got? a nintendo wii with 3 free games: cooking mama2 (its so cool u can cook anything u want!) wii sports and wii play.

i bought the christmas concert dvd and i thought it was really cool!

In a couple of weeks the wakefield wildcats are coming in to school to do an assembly and they asked if they could bring somebody in and guess what George Sampson is coming in everybody is well excited but we are not sure if he is going to dance I wish he does.

After the holidays when we go back to school,
were gonna do loadz of hard work to get ready and prepared for our sats.
By the way I cant believe Mrs Wrigglesworth has retired.
She was 1 of my favourite teachers.
All the teachers sang a song for her it was called
`Where do you get those high heels.`
It was really funny and the teachers wore a scarf and carried a hand bag.

On Monday 1st December year 6 are going on a visit to Batley sports center for a friendship link thing with St James. Apparently we are doing lots of activities but we are going on Dance mats, even the adults. Mrs Sennett, Mrs Placchino and Mrs Dunphy are going to look soo funny... I cant wait Its gonna be soo much fun!!!!!

hi i am in year 1 and i really enjoy coming to this school it is really good. I do a spelling test every week and i get higher levels every week. i enjoy doing my homework. i miss all the year 6s who have just left especially aisha afzal shes my fave cousin.

I attended the school from circa 1943 to 1948. I have always had fond memories of the the school and am sorry to see the demolition. Have not been in the area for at least 10 years.

Just recently the year 5/6 choir performed at the opera house.The musical was called jACK IT WAS FUN.

this school is very good an the new school is going to be very very big

hi everybody,
last week on Friday it was green day it was well good. Year 6 made Harry Potter and Hedwig the owl.
I think little red riding hood and the wolf in the bed were the best ones, made by the nursery children.
All the classes put all their effort into their class work.
all the models are really cool.
If you haven't seen them then you can go into school and have a look at them all on display.
they are next to George and the dragon.
and the amazing thing is that all the models are made out of recycled materials such as:

pop bottles

cardboard boxes

yogurt pots

twigs ........

on wednesday 9th july all the year 6's went to their induction day at kettlethorpe it was really good. we met our teachers and had an assembly and a couple of lessons.

the year 6's have still not recieved their sats results. it did say on the news that the sats results have been delayed. I hope we get them before we break up.

Just watched the video of some of the demolition work and looked at the pictures again! It's really sad, but equally exciting, to witness the building of the new school. We check out what's happening through the gaps in the fence every morning!

We are looking forward to coming back in september hopefully we may see some of the new school!

I like this school 'cause it is so full of fun things to do.
